Occupational Health and Safety Standard
Safety is our culture. Protecting the lives of our clients, employees, subcontractors and the public is our greatest value and guides our philosophy.
Our management recognise their responsibility to establish and maintain exceptional worksites. The Safety Management System we employ, based upon the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007, is continuously reviewed and updated. The Director for health and safety is responsible for communicating the policy throughout the business and for ensuring that it is implemented and reviewed at least once a year.
Directors commitment is proven and demonstrated through our safety performance. Our methodology of achieving safety excellence relies on a simple approach and message; “No One Gets Hurt”. We will achieve this by identifying the hazards and risks involved in our activities, by focusing on eliminating these risks wherever possible, and by establishing robust arrangements for the management of any that remain.
Our customers’ projects demonstrate progress.
They bring opportunities for individuals and regions. It is our responsibility to help our customer deliver on the promise of these projects and more. We respect the natural, built, social and economic environments in all communities in which we operate. When designing, planning, constructing or maintaining built infrastructure, we are committed to conducting our operations in an environmentally and socially responsible manner to achieve environmentally sustainable solutions.
As part of our commitment to quality, Dancor applies rigorous controls to all aspect of its business. Quality work reduces cost, improves schedule, and, in doing so, satisfies our customers. We believe in achieving quality by making solid decisions based on facts, identifying issues before they occur, promptly fixing problems should they materialise, and inspiring every person on a project to “do it right the first time”.
